My husband and I were married in April 2009 and celebrated our reception at Portlick Castle.  We had decided that our main priority was that our guests were going to have a great weekend so food and music were of paramount importance.  Before the event Aine and her team visited our venue several times, checking everything was perfect and ready.  On the day her beautifully dressed staff welcomed our guests with Champagne, Juices and an Afternoon tea selection of  finger sandwiches and scones.  Our meal was just as we had imagined, the starters were served to the tables and then the staff invited each table to come to the main Banquet table where they were encouraged to try everything.  The Uisneach Catering team left the kitchen ready should we want to give our guests any sandwiches or snacks later that night - which added to the whole atmosphere of being hosts in our own castle.  We had the most magical weekend, there were no upsets because everything had been well thought out and planned for.  We whole heartedly recommend Aine Gavigan of Uisneach Catering, her experience, professionalism and genuine desire for your event to be an out and out success guarantees that it will be.
